It is the capital city of west Bengal & the heart of the east India. Kolkata has lots of historical locations & other tourist attractions as it was once the capital of India under the British reign. Tourist attractions here are Victoria memorial hall, fort William, Birla planetarium, science city, Eden garden stadium, Marble palace, Howrah Bridge, Botanical garden, saheed minar, Race course, National library and many more.

I am very proud that, I have born in this city because some famous man had born here like the great novel laurite Rabindranath Tagore, swami Vivekananda, scientist satyen Bose, the great Indian film maker satyajit ray. It is that city where I first to take a sip of cup of tea. It is that city where I first fallen in love. It is that city where I first came to know how to play sound with strings guitar. I am really great full to my city. In Kolkata My favorite place is maidan in front of Victoria memorial hall. Ultimately it is call “city of joy”.

SHANTINIKETAN:

Shantiniketan known as “the abode of peace”, it is the second home to Novel laureate Rabindranath tagore the great Indian poet. It is famous for its natural beauty where one can easily find peace & relaxation. The vision of Rabindranath tagore has made this town into a university town.  After that it has known as popular as Biswabharati university . Main attraction is cultural programmed & festival. One is pouse mele, another one is colour festival as popular as spring festival (Basanta utsav).  There is lots of learning opportunity in Biswabharati university .  Like (Rabindra song, Recitation, Art, Theater etc) it is open for all learners. Many student come from many palaces

 

BISWABHARATI

 

HAZARDUARI PALACE:

: It was the very last capital city of independent Bengal. Hazarduari palace translated as the palace with a “thousand doors” is the main tourist attraction here, now converted to a museum it has a stunning collection of arsenal. Other tourist places to visit are the Gharighar (clock tower).  It is a popular historical place of East India. I have visited several times.  Actually main attraction is Hazarduari palace. It is situated at Murshidabad district.

 situated at the foot hills of the eastern Himalayan. The sanctuary has a great variety of flora and fauna and exquisite natural beauty. It has the major population of the great one horned rhinoceros. Jeep safari is also available there.  It is native place of siliguri in west Bengal.

SUNDERBANS:

 The sunderban literally translated means “beautiful forest”. It is the largest tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world with a vast bio-diversity. It is the home of the Royal Bengal tigers and is the largest tiger reserve in India. Not only tiger but also there are available so many animals like crocodile, deer, snake etc. ultimately it is an adventure place of India. Nearest location is Kolkata in westbengal.

 The dooars valley is recognized for its wildlife sanctuaries and national parks. A lot of rare and endangered species of birds and animals can be found here. Elephant & jeep safari is also available here for adventure. Nearest railway station is newjalpaiguri in west Bengal.
